Biography

Alexandria Rios, PA, chose to work in primary care because she loved the idea of knowing her patients on a personal level. Her patient care philosophy is to approach patients with an open mind and let them share in the decision-making processes about their health.

PA Alex became interested in a medical career because she suffered from many sports-related injuries as a child. She attributes her successful soccer career to the incredible medical teams that supported her. Her favorite part of her job is treating family units, and she feels especially valued in her community when people refer their family members to her. She completed her training at West Liberty University and is board-certified by NCCPA.

Clinically, PA Alex has a particular interest in treating arthritis, asthma, behavioral health concerns, COPD, dementia, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, migraines, sports injuries and thyroid disease. She also focuses on the importance of preventive health care. PA Alex is a Texas native who enjoys spending time with her dog, reading, exercising, attending sporting events and concerts and traveling.
