I've been seeing Dr. Piedad for many years now and he is the best Primary Care Doctor I've ever had, and every year at insurance time especially because of Medicare, I will not sign up for any insurance company that Optum doesn't take, I will stay with Dr. Piedad until I die if possible. The man gives it to you straight, he doesn't mess around as soon as he comes into the room to see you. And he already knows why you're there before he walks into the exam room. Dr. Piedad was my Dad's doctor for a longtime also and he took great care of my Dad until he passed away in 2020..

Please see all my other responses … please don’t make me say it all again: bad bedside manners. Lacks care, compassion, and empathy, when talking about the patient he’s getting ready to see (me) and you can hear certain comments and unpleasant grunts for having to deal with a patient that he never wanted to deal with to begin with. The ONLY reason I was there and chose to stay was because of his assistant May. On previous occasion Dr. dropped me with no notice due to insurance changes by his facility without a courtesy visit to follow up on past visit for both me and my husband leaving us both without needed medications. There’s more. But I won’t bore you, because nothing will be changed or corrected anyway so I don’t even know why I bother. He owns his practice, whose going to reprimand him

He never spends time with me. In fact when he started to walk out of the exam room and I still had questions - he said that he was very busy and had other patients to see. He constantly doesn't believe me that my blood pressure is too high. I even keep a log of my blood pressure but he still doesn't believe me.

Dr Piedad has taken very good care of my husband and my self for quite a few yrs. Have no issues with him at all. When my husband got sick with dementia Dr Piedad helped a lot getting Hospice in to help take care of my husband. Everyone at Optum has been so helpful over the yrs. Dr Link took care of my mom before she passed about thirty yrs ago. Have no issues or problems ever.

He’s a wonderful doctor he’s patient, he listen to what you’re saying and he explains very clearly. If he says something medically that I don’t understand he explains it to me. He cares about his patients,my husband and I were his patients over 10 years ago. My husband died of cancer and I had to leave because my insurance change. I am really happy to be back with Dr Piedad he’s really a wonderful doctor. I pray that God will take good care of him so he’ll be there to take care of me also. Even with prayers we still need Doctors. I am looking forward to my next visit for my results.

He is a good doctor straight forward doesn't best around the bush. Doesn't spend hardly time maybe 5 minutes. I think he has become too busy for his patients these days and makes me feel like I'm old and it's just arthritis and just take a steroid and it will be fine. But then after completed the meds I called the office at 9:30am to say I was still in pain. l waited all day but no response so I had to call the on-call MD. At 5:30 pm I got a call and he said he didn't know why I wasn't called but the Doctor was gonna prescribe Mobic that I can't take due to my CKD anyway. So this is why I feel he is blowing me off as a patient and doesn't have time for me anymore.
