Anna Liza Lavedan, MD

I knew I wanted to be a physician from an early age'I am fascinated with the human body and how it works. I feel so fortunate to be practicing in internal medicine and pediatrics because it allows me to treat patients from birth through their senior years and, often times, I am able to care for the entire family. I provide healthcare for a variety of conditions, including annual health exams and physicals, annual school physicals, immunizations, labs, sinus infections, asthma, flu, upper respiratory infections, and management of acute and chronic health conditions. I also try to incorporate healthy living into all of my appointments, as this is such an important part of maintaining good health.
I was born in the Philippines but moved to Dallas when I was 15 years old. I completed my medical degree at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I then moved to Omaha, Nebraska, to complete my residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Creighton University, where I served as chief resident. Upon completion of medical training, I spent time in academic positions at Creighton University Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center. I also have more than 15 years of experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in the clinic setting.
I currently live in Colleyville with my husband and our children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exercising.
