Biography

Sarah Kent, MD, knows family medicine practitioners play a vital role in patient's lives. She believes in building connections that last a lifetime. Growing up in a small town, Dr. Kent saw local doctors develop close bonds with families. As a physician, Dr. Kent enjoys working with multi-generational families and strives to help each patient reach their full potential.

Dr. Kent developed her love of science from her father, a high school biology teacher. She decided to use her passion for science to help others. After graduating from the University of Iowa, she completed her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Today, Dr. Kent is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

In her practice, Dr. Kent emphasizes preventive care. She knows medicine has made great strides in the last few decades, and many chronic conditions can be resolved with the right care. She uses the latest research to deliver cutting-edge care for chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Kent lives in Celina, Texas, with her family. Her three children keep her busy, and she spends much of her free time cheering them on at baseball games, theatre performances and robotics competitions. She also enjoys running and gardening.
