Because Dr. McCormick. Will work with any patient, as long as that patient does their part. If Dr. McCormick says control what you eat, so one can control blood sugar. Don’t say okay doc, then go home and expect medication to work. News flash it “won’t”.

During yearly physicals there’s no EKGs given anymore He doesn’t refer to books to demonstrate your problems. It seems he prefers not to touch you if you have a physical problem. It’s hard to explain. Although he is extremely friendly and courteous.

He was not rushed or in a hurry to speed through our appointment. I am a pretty healthy person but he still took time to thoroughly discuss my history and health. I had been skeptical about having a new doctor as my previous doctor, Dr. Deems, had been seeing me for almost 30 years, but I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. McCormick. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and reviewing my test results. When I was having neck issues earlier this year, he immediately ordered an MRI and I discovered I had a serious problem with spinal stenosis which will require surgery in January. He was very proactive in handling my neck problem.

Example, I asked Dr McCormick to help me get a handicap decal for my car as I was having trouble wallking. Instead, he said we need to find out what my problem is and after doing some tests in office, referrerd me for Physical therapy, which is helping immensely. I will not need a handicap decal , after all
