I am new resident in Pleasanton. There was only one doctor and rest are PAs. I rarely saw the doctor, she was always booked with residents she knew for years, so I had to see PAs. When Dr. Snyder was hired, he became my doctor, we were both new. He listened, was patient, and explained my results in layman's terms. Now he has been transferred to Floresville, and I am back to PAs. I don't drive much to go to Floresville, but they are getting a great doctor, so yes, I would recommend him if asked.

Went to get a primary dr setup and thought bloodwork was part of the initial visit and establishing care. Instead got no coverage and billed $800+ for "obesity labs" instead of yearly physical and bloodwork that would be covered by insurance

Because even though he is listed as my primary care. The primary care physician on my medical card and the one I’m suppose to be seeing is Patricia lane. Snyder is an ok doc But I felt a closeness with Lane that I don’t Snyder.

Dr. Snyder is very warm and personable and easy to talk to. My first appointment with him was a follow up after lab work and my total cholesterol was 251 and he wanted to put me in a statin. I asked him if I could try with diet to get it down. He said, “Absolutely.” I was determined to reduce it and I really appreciated that he would let me have 6 months to work on it! After 6 months I had more labs and a follow up at which he showed me the results and I did bring it down to 195. I’m very thankful for a doc who will work with me that way. That’s my kind of doctor.

On the televisits he wants to argue on everything I bring up. Rude and unprofessional. I've been seeing Drs regularly for 40 years, yet he treats me like I'm an idiot. I asked him to refill all my scripts as they were needed in 5-7 days. But no, I was told to go in the other room to bring all my meds where the televisit was set up. Then go through each one to tell him which ones had no refills. I'm on Oxygen 24/7. It's difficult getting around. I'm due for a Medicare Cardiac Wellness visit. I had to fight him for 10 minutes to get a referral. The first visit in the office went ok. Even though he didn't send scripts for all my meds. He listened to my heart and found issues. Wouldn't do anything further to see about the issues. The televisits were horrid. He sits there alone in his office and acts like a Tin God and disrespects me every step of the way. I'm not in the WellMeds Advantage plan. I have full Medicare and a Part B supplement that pays everything else. WellMed has lost a high paying patient. I no longer want to have anything to do with WellMed. Good day. [omitted]

My/Our first interaction with Dr. Snyder was a teledoc meeting actually with my Mom. He was very helpful, professional and kind. When I needed to change my primary doctor because of Dr. Woodford’s status changes, I decided to see if Wellmed had any docs that were taking new patients and discovered that Dr. Snyder was one of them! Our first meeting was good, and mostly about giving him as much info as possible on my past medical history. The second meeting was to discuss my lab work. My cholesterol level was high and he wanted to put me in a statin. I respectfully requested of him if he might give me some time to bring that number down naturally, by diet and some exercise. He was very agreeable to the idea of giving me 6 months to work on that and I was delighted and very grateful. I like that he’s vegetarian and I’m incorporating some of that into my plan. I really appreciate a doc who is okay with a patient taking supplements. I’m very thankful for Dr. Snyder.
