Sarah Burst, MD

Sarah Burst, MD, is a physician. She completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and residency at Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Institute. Her patient care philosophy is to always listen to and fully understand a patient's concerns.

Dr. Burst initially pursued a career in medicine because she had multiple family members in the field of medicine in various roles, and she wanted to emulate the way they helped patients. Her favorite part of her job is assisting patients to improve their health by providing the information they need to understand and manage their illness. She is passionate about helping patients make informed decisions about their care.

Dr. Burst was born in Charleston, South Carolina and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, eating out at fantastic local restaurants, or relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Clinically, she has a special interest in preventive medicine, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and thyroid conditions.
