She is a caring and concerned provider; yet, it seems that she does not know much about how WellMed operates. Also, I did not receive the answer that I needed about one medication that my previous PCP prescribed for me. (But Amanda is from another clinic, probably standing in for a provider who was not available. I don't recall having ever met her before, therefore, she may not be very familiar with my care needs.)

As soon as I walked in she seemed bothered that I was 7 minutes late. She had a passive aggressive tone and made several comments about not being right on time and issues with that. I felt very uncomfortable and awkward. I've never felt this way when seeing my primary doctor. Then she asked if I had any concerns and I mentioned a feminine concern so she checked me and didn't mention this would be billed and I am now being charged by my insurance company. I would not want to see this provider again.

She seemed distracted and discounted the severity of my illness. After seeing her and no improvement in my condition after three days I went to a local emergency care clinic. An older physician prescribed me an antibiotic and within a couple days I felt much better.

Amanda was great at quickly assessing my issue and making her recommendations for prescriptions and other ways to ease my discomfort. As it turned out her guidance solved my issue within a week of following her direction.
