I had an L1 BURST fracture and needed 6screws and 2 rods. I told her my back hurt after slipping in a hotel shower. She wanted me to find an orthopedic and refused to put an order in for a CT or MRI. I went to Prosper Texas Health ER and an ambulance came to pick me up after CT showed a burst fracture centimeters from my spinal cord. I was rushed into surgery. Shame on her for not putting in a simple referral for a scan and left me to find an orthopedic! I could h e been paralyzed by this!

I like Valentina Cruz very much. As I stated before, I have never been able to make an appointment to see her other than the six months check ups. I have to go to an urgent care place to get help with medical issues I have during the year. Initially, I had an appointment with Dr. Patel. When it came time for my check up, I was told that I would not see Dr. Patel and that I would see her assistant, Valentina Cruz. And that is who I have seen every time. The only problem I have with her is that I can’t ever get in to see her if I have a medical need throughout the year.
