It was my first time to meet her. My PCP was not available for this follow-up visit, and I was dreading the visit with a new person. However, Chera put me at ease at the very beginning of my appointment with her. She was professional, but very kind; and she listened to my concerns about a couple of new health conditions I had been having.

At first, I was reluctant to see Ms. Smith. I always prefer to see Dr. Mewis. However, now that I have seen Ms. Smith several times, I find her to be intelligent, caring, and on target with her diagnoses and remedies. She is an excellent listener and gets to know her patients. I am very sure I will see her again when I am ill.

Chera went over history and listened to my concerns. She asked about previous treatment and knew about previous tests. Follow up was good as far as timing and referral. A little mix up in the lab report made for a few concerning hours but Chera provided the correct information within 12 hours. The remaining follow up and referral information were very prompt and appreciated.

Chera was attentive and listened to my various symptoms to reach a diagnosis of my problems. She reviewed my meds and altered the medications to help me feel better and was thorough by ordering lab and found a solution to my infection with antibiotics. Blood pressure problems were mitigated by altering my medications. She was positive and cheerful during the visit and I felt we were working together to make sure I had the best results.

She seems to listen to my concerns and tries to address them, but time is very limited. She is typing 100 mph the whole time, not much of a physical exam. Appointments maybe should be longer with older patients. Or as she suggested see her twice a year instead of once a year, then maybe be less to cover in such a short appointment.

I asked about my other prescription why the dose was changed, never got an answer. I told her about how the other prescription affected me and she went and talked to Dr. Mewis. She came back and told me they were changing the prescription. I checked with Walmart pharmacy and they said they never got any change in prescription so I call the Doctors office back and told them , someone was supposed to call me back and never did.

When I first saw her, she referred me to Dr. Berniece Williams for pain mgt. after seeing Dr. Williams for a while for PT and injections, she referred me to the Trinity Pain Medicine Clinic, to Dr. Ashley-Bailey Classen. She has treated my left hip, both knees.

My son met her for the first time. I have an appointment with her in a month or so. This was his well check up appointment. According to him, she did not give him a thorough examination. She looked at his bloodwork, which was fine he did not do anything that Dr. Eppstein, would normally do at the appointment. He asked her to check in his ears because he was used to that to look down his throat etc. etc.. I would have preferred an appointment with Dr. Eppstein, that was my first choice but we had to settle for the PA because of time and there was no appointments available with Dr. Eppstein,. Personally, I’m very disappointed that medicine is going to the PA and the nurse practitioners and not to the physicians.

Compared with the 50+ yearly physicals that I've had this one was one of the worst. Very brief, not thorough. On the Patient Plan I received she even misdiagnosed me. I have Parkinson's and she wrote in my assessment "Parkinson's without dyskinesia, unspecified whether manifestations fluctuate." This is wrong. Had she even bothered to spend 5 minutes discussing my Parkinsons she would have known that I do indeed have some issues with dyskinesia. Diet and exercise were never discussed.
