Biography

I was born in Tehran, Iran, but spent most of my childhood in Plano, Texas, and now live in Fort Worth.
I found my love for biology and the life sciences while earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas. That interest fit with my desire to interact in positive ways with people. I want to help make a positive difference in people's lives'medicine allows me to do that.
I went on to medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. I chose to specialize in internal medicine because it encompasses a wide variety of medicine that makes it challenging. My residency in internal medicine at Baylor Scott & White Health and Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center in Temple, Texas, allowed me to care for people with many different health issues. It also drove home the importance of the patient-physician bond.
Today, I'm committed to nurturing the relationships I have with my patients so I can help them maintain their best health and enjoy full lives. I am excited about serving the people of our North Texas community.
When I'm not caring for patients at USMD Cleburne Clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm a game board enthusiast, but I also like to spend time hiking and traveling. I look forward to meeting you.
