Nida Noor, MD

I can't ever remember a time when I wanted to be something other than a doctor. I was born into a family full of doctors who were driven by curiosity, faith and a call to care for others.
I attended Lahore College for Women University where I studied pre-med. I wasted no time after graduating, and immediately enrolled in Lahore Medical and Dental College to attend medical school. To continue my training, I moved to Richmond, Indiana, to work at Reid Health. There, I completed my residency program and served as chief resident.
Specializing in family medicine was an intentional choice driven by my desire to follow in my mentor's footsteps. My father has been practicing family medicine for over three decades. His passion and dedication for the field inspire me and ultimately led me to follow the same path. Now, as a family physician myself, I can't picture doing anything else.
When it comes to my patient approach I focus on interactions and relationships. I believe good patient interactions combined with long-lasting relationships yield better patient outcomes. Those long-lasting relationships are what make it all worth it for me. Family medicine is about developing those connections with my patients and their families so when they come to see me, they understand I'm invested in their wellbeing.
Outside of work, I'm both a wife and a mother. My husband and I love traveling and exploring new places and food. My daughter manages to keep me busy, so when I do have free time, I'm spending it with her.
