Nikhil Agarwal, MD

Nikhil Agarwal, MD, believes good patient care begins with understanding the patient’s needs, preferences and values. He chose to specialize in internal medicine to treat a broad spectrum of medical conditions.

Dr. Agarwal was born and raised in India. He was inspired to a medical career after watching his father help others lead healthier, happier lives. Dr. Agarwal earned his medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in India, then moved to the U.S. to complete his residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He currently holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Interacting with patients from all walks of life and helping them achieve healthier lives is Dr. Agarwal’s favorite aspect of serving as a medical doctor. Arthritis, geriatrics, thyroid disease and diabetes are among his top clinical interests. Dr. Agarwal currently lives in Austin, Texas, where he enjoys listening to music, playing racquet sports and spending quality time with his children when not caring for patients.
