Ever since doc Lowry left i feel she has changed She was always running late… But for example i started Ozempic and its been about 3 months..,. I normally go in to check Glucose any way….this time she decided not to check my A 1 C….! Then i was explaining my blood sugar drops low at times and i get it fast and hard where i almost pass out… then after she discussed it…, she tells me to take TWO METFORMINS ( instead of one i take at times) So if it goes too low depending on what i do or eat….. why would i keep taking TWO? And then i asked about my D 3 …. I said its been going down each time i go back… she daid but didnt u stop you D pill? Yes but i was never told to take vitamins like that and i thinl she had to be thinking of the PRESCRIPTED KIND I took long before all this…. Those are powerful and u take ONE A WEEK FOR 8 wks! I take otc ! She said but even if i miss two… Then my Vit D blood work would go down! No it would not! I have taken full bottles of the otc and still went too low and i had to get the medical grade! And i went in [omitted] thinking i would see her…. Then they handed me an i pad to talk to her!!! No one called to tell me SHE WOULD NOT BE IN THE OFFICE THAT DAY!! No one!!! Then the ipad stopped working Twice and so i had to use my phone and sit There to do a virtual call! They were trying to put off not taking blood work i normally get off on medicare or my insurance! No way! I checked and was Allowed those tests but she would not take them! Not even sure they took my TSH test Which i have to take too… i have no thyroid. I am VERY unhappy with the doctor now and i am going to look gor another one soon! I have been going to doctor lowry for at least 18 or more years! Koda was nice too and would not question me nor argue before now! I Think they need help in that office with more doctors? All i know is that i am diabetic and i have not had blood work since I saw her in early [omitted] And now in Dec… she said i did not NEED MY a1C … and to come back in MARCH? Plus i have been on Ozempic for that time! Is She kidding me?? I am very upset about it! Thats for sure!

She's an excellent medical doctor. She spends a lot of time with me. She checks the results of my lab very quickly (usually the day after I have blood and urine labs) and she calls me personally when lab results are problematic. She is all-around, great professional.

Again, she is an excellent doctor. But I don’t do “10” for indicidual. Everyone can do better. I have been coming to this office for years. The original office was wonderful As years passed there have been a few individuals who were not on top of my list but the office staff is beyond reproach! Always has been. And now I like Dr Kota very much. Patients learn to not get too attached - doctors/nurse “leave” a lot. I hope she stays.
