Biography

Albert Torres, NP, delivers patient-focused care that uses a combination of holistic and evidence-based practices. Preventive care and acute and chronic disease management are his specialties.

NP Torres was born in Mexico City and raised in El Paso, Texas. His long-held passion for human anatomy and physiology inspired him to pursue a medical career and fulfill his dream of helping others improve their health and well-being. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Dementia, heart disease, migraines and obesity are some of NP Torres’ top clinical interests. His favorite aspect of serving as a nurse practitioner is being able to make a positive impact on his patients’ lives. NP Torres currently lives in El Paso, and, in his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, meeting new people and playing golf.
