Biography

Ailey Folsom, NP, believes patient care begins with listening to patients and using a team approach to meet their unique, individual needs. Delivering care in a rural setting is her specialty, which exposes her to various conditions and new experiences every day.

Ailey was born and raised in Nebraska and moved to Arizona during high school. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and holds board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She decided to become an NP after working as an RN in the emergency department and realizing many patients in low-income and rural communities did not have access to primary care.

Building relationships with patients and serving her community are Ailey’s favorite aspects of working as an NP. Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and preventive care are her top clinical interests. She currently lives in Cleburne, Texas, and enjoys camping and spending quality time with her husband and three children when not caring for patients.
