He is knowledgeable about all of my conditions including IBS and type 1 diabetes. He reminds me to get shots on time including shingles and covid. He periodically goes over my meds and any issues I might have regarding emotional state. My husband died this past Fall and Dr. Som asks how I am coping. It is extremely important for my over all well being.

I needed an MRI and called the office to ask Dr. Som to put an order in. I was told I had to see him first which I thought was unacceptable because I had just seen him two weeks ago and he give me a Cortisone shot for the area where I was suffering, and I did not feel I should have had to come in again just to get the MRI. All my records are in their files. All they had to do was look at my records and they would’ve known my history. I brought copies of previous MRIs to the office since they never looked in my files for the information. Having to come back was a waste of time and caused more days of pain than necessary.

dr som sold out to 'big pharma' so to speak. it was his decision. i did not like it at all. som was personal som under big pharma seems a wee bit less so. i mattered to him. i dont matter to big pharma
