Biography

Wanika Williams, MD, was born and raised in New Orleans and attended Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans to earn her medical degree. She relocated to Houston to complete her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She currently holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Williams is passionate about caring for patients and restoring dignity to care for underserved populations. Preventive care is her top clinical interest, as her goal is to help her patients live the longest lives possible through lifestyle changes revolving around diet and exercise. She loves collaborating with patients and encouraging them to adopt healthy behaviors to improve their chronic conditions.

Dr. Williams currently resides in Houston. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and bicycling.
