Laura Colon, NP

Laura Colon, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner dedicated to patient care through education, compassion and collaboration. She loves connecting with patients and their families to support their health goals and guide them toward better outcomes.

FNP-C Colon decided to pursue an advanced degree in nursing to help patients prevent the escalation of many common diseases she sees in South Texas. She trained at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She enjoys that her specialty allows her to make the greatest impact on the lives of her patients while also serving a bigger community.

FNP-C Colon was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and currently resides in Corpus Christi, Texas. Clinically, she is particularly interested in helping her patients manage COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and musculoskeletal conditions. She is also focused on preventive care.
