Biography

Lory Helmick, NP, believes shared knowledge and governance are key to quality patient care. Versatility is one of her strongest traits, and geriatrics is her top clinical passion and interest.

Ms. Helmick was born in Minnesota and raised in Hawaii. She pursued a career in medicine to serve her community and help people reach their maximum health potential—the latter of which is also her favorite aspect of being a nurse practitioner. She earned her post-graduate Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Texas at El Paso and holds board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Ms. Helmick currently lives in El Paso, Texas. Her favorite Bible verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
