Rito (Joel) Munoz, PA, is a physician assistant. He trained at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and is board-certified by NCCPA. His patient care philosophy focuses on connecting with patients to build rapport and confidence.

PA Joel Munoz originally pursued a career as a physician assistant to help and serve others by guiding them through their health journey. He chose to work in family medicine because he enjoys the versatility of the profession. He strives to motivate and mentor patients regarding their health care goals. His favorite part of his work is helping patients, and he enjoys the culture of working in his clinic.

PA Joel Munoz was born and raised in Texas. He is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exercising and playing soccer and other sports. Clinically, he is particularly interested in helping manage arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, musculoskeletal conditions and thyroid disorders. He is also passionate about preventive medicine and geriatric care.
