She was professional, pleasant, listened well to all my concerns and gave helpful understandable answers. She suggested a change in one of my prescriptions, and the change was made that very same day with the medication arriving very soon after. She suggested several simple things (like a pedicure for toenail problem) and was reassuring about my overall health (told me not to worry about an upcoming breast re-scan.) I felt very comfortable with her.

I felt that Dr. Gonzales was not as concerned with what I felt like I needed at the time of my visit. I felt that she was more concerned with what my insurance would pay for and was recommended at the time. She was going to provide the exam I felt that I needed at the time but with reservations. Upon starting the exam she discovered a problem and I was referred to another doctor. If I had not advocated for myself the problem would not have been discovered until I was showing sysmtoms. I am very glad that I advocated for myself. I think that Dr. Gonzales was surprised that I had a problem that would not have been discovered if I had not insisted on the exam.
