Elvis Massip-Perez, MD

Elvis Massip-Perez, MD, is a physician who practices family medicine. He attended medical school at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Sancti Spiritus in Cuba and completed his family medicine residency at Bella Vista Hospital in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Massip-Perez became interested in pursuing a career in medicine when he was still in high school. He enjoys practicing family medicine because it allows him to partner with his patients and address their concerns more personally. He enjoys treating patients across the lifespan — from babies to the elderly.

Dr. Massip-Perez strives to provide respectful and sensitive care to personal, cultural and religious values and experiences. His patient-centered approach aims to truly listen to his patient’s needs and preferences so he can collaborate with them to make informed decisions about their care. His favorite part of his job is seeing patients improve their health status and recover from illness.

Dr. Massip-Perez is married and has two children. He enjoys playing tennis, reading books and spending time with his family.
