Dr. Tran came highly recommended and I was lucky to be able to have him for my PCP as he was not accepting new patients. He is a great doctor. Not knowing where to put this comment. Referral process changed and when needing multiple visits have to get one for each visit instead of being able for the referral to indicate multiple times. Referral people are great, this isn't their fault. Dr. Tran is no longer able to give me my trigger point shots due to a change in Optum's policy.

Dr Tran is extremely knowledgeable regarding my history and current condition. He noted that I had an emergency admission to the hospi8tal while he was on vacation and even made a personal telephone call to check on me while I was in the hospital and make sure I had everything that I needed. He also reached out to his hospitalist to confer with him to review my condition and treatment plan. He also personally reached out after discharge and made sure that all was well and all needs met. He is the most involved of any PCP I have ever had.

I recommend Dr Tran to everyone I know. He is a wonderful physician, he is caring. He is thorough and follows up on anything. you talk about. He makes you feel cared about no matter how tired he is or how rushed he is and he always takes his time with you no matter how rushed he is. He never makes you feel that you are a problem in anyway, and I recently had the experience of being sick on a weekend, a long weekend and he was covering Dr and I spoke with him every day of those three days and he was just as pleasant and helpful as any other time. He’s one of my favorite people in so many ways. He’s always very upbeat and acts rested and as though he has just come back from a vacation, no matter how busy he is he’s joyful and I think he would help a depressed person very much. Dr. Tran is very thorough and hands on with his patients. I think he probably saved my life. My blood pressure went up and instead of only prescribing a medication he also ordered some additional tests. It would have been so easy just to give me a pill, after all I was almost [omitted] and most people my age were already on medication. but he said no not you and ordered the tests. Thank God he did. I had an aneurysm and had to have a stint put in. We are still working on that situation, but I know he is there for me.

He doesn't rush into complicated treatments and/or tests. He's telephoned when there is a concern on his own time. He is beyond care and caring. His passion for his 'customers' is absolutely exemplary. His staff, is like, following his lead. He can never retire!

Within a very short time I had perscriptions at the pharmacy and was scheduled for antibody infusions. Disappointed in the quickness and attitude of responding to some serious symptoms. I was finally diagnosed with colon cancer, but had to fight to get a colonoscopy and proper diagnosis. I've always been a advocate of Dr. Tran, but feel his staff and he himself didn't really listen to my concern for my health. I had a fairly good size lump that they said was probably just "poop" backing up in my colon. Alot of pain that went unrecognized by staff.

A virtual visit does not allow for hands-on assessment. I feel it was limited only to converstion which is essential but lacked physician actual diagnosis, fir example checking carotids, pedal pulses cardiac and lung assessment

Dr Tran stands out in an agency that has medicur staff. I went to a local dermatologist office, the front desk staff welcomed me by name. I said I wished my primary care office was similar and they said you must go to Optum. Word of poor service gets around.
