There was a medication confusion for a prescription that took way too long to get fixed.... Perhaps the staff did not speak to her in a prompt fashion.....

Answer provided on question 1. My needs were not heard nor were my needs met; they were completely ignored. I felt so disregarded & disrespected. Karla was only concerned about filling my prescriptions & not what I made the appointment for. She just didn’t care. Not sure why because it wouldn’t affect her but completely refused to listen. I am so disappointed in the whole medical facility, I feel it’s time to move on to find another medical facility that actually cares about their patients! Not one that ignores patients needs.

I was not comfortable with her. She did not seem to care at all and didn’t listen to what I told her. She prescribed something that I told her did not work for me before. When I called back she did not prescribe the second option we discussed and the person that called said she hadn’t even noted it anywhere on my chart. She prescribed something else that I was not comfortable even trying.

I followed Karla Douglas to this location when my previous location closed. She remains professional and attentive. I have had issues with one of the lab tech and gaining access to the patient portal since WellMed switched to the Healow app. I’ve talked to Karla and the front desk people about this ongoing issue. No one seems to be able to figure it out. Referrals are an issue too. I called the allergist I was referred to today and they had not received the referral.

She was very judgmental and didn’t seem to actually listen to my concerns. When I complained of severe foot pain, she told me I was overweight and seemed hesitant to refer me to a foot/ankle specialist. I have since been diagnosed with several severe issues in my foot and ankle which required extensive surgery to repair.

She seemed to be of very little help in diagnosing my problem. She only ordered a simple urine test to be run that I could not get the results back for 72 hours. No blood test was run. I ended up in the hospital for the next 5 days with kidney function problems which could have been seen with a blood test!!
