Biography

Karla started her nursing career in 2015 after graduating from Texas Woman's University with a bachelors in nursing. She then attended the University of Arlington and earned her masters in nursing. She has five years of experience as a NICU nurse. Karla decided to focus her career on internal medicine because she enjoys getting to know her patients, helping them along their care journey, and making a difference. She focuses on educating patients about preventative health and managing chronic illnesses. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest medical practice guidelines, vacationing, and spending time with her son.
