Biography

Ida Houston, NP, received her graduate degree from the University of South Florida, MS. She loves working in family medicine as it allows her to help others and get to know a wide variety of patients on a professional, and personal level.

Ms. Houston excels in patient care, demonstrating patience, honesty and attentive listening throughout every patient encounter. She specializes in preventive care and enjoys effectively helping her patients manage chronic conditions. Ms. Houston has a special interest in treating patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Ms. Houston now resides in Tampa, Florida. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, watching movies and spending time with her family. Ms. Houston currently holds accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
