Vadean Jackson, MD

Vadean Jackson, MD, aims to deliver exceptional care to patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. She strives to make patients feel comfortable when sharing their health concerns and feels honored when chosen as their physician.

Dr. Jackson was born and raised in Jamaica and earned her medical degree at the University of the West Indies. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and has many clinical interests, including asthma, COPD, women’s health and thyroid disorders. She was inspired to become a physician after watching health care professionals in her family care for ill community members while growing up.

Interacting with patients and forging meaningful relationships with them is Dr. Jackson’s favorite part of being a medical doctor. She experiences great joy upon seeing the smiles on her patients’ faces when they recover from various illnesses and conditions. Dr. Jackson is married with two daughters and currently lives in San Antonio, Texas. She enjoys dancing, cooking, listening to music, watching action movies and spending quality time with her family.
