Biography

The human body is so fascinating. Medicine allows me to learn about the bodies complexities and also how to treat various diseases. Every day I learn something new and apply it to my practice so I can better serve my patients.
I am a Texan through and through. I was born and raised in Friendswood and attended Texas A&M University for undergrad where I earned a bachelor's degree in biology. After graduating I moved to Fort Worth to attend UNT Health Science Center where I earned both my masters and my doctorate. I completed my medical school journey with a residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine.
I chose to specialize in internal medicine because I enjoy treating a wide variety of cases and serving my patients in all capacities. It also allows me to get to know my patients and consider all aspects of life when we're discussing potential treatment plans to help them reach their health goals. It allows me to better serve them as their physician. It's truly an honor to be trusted with a patient's concerns and issues regarding their health.
I understand it can be incredibly vulnerable to open up to your physician about your health, so I always try my best to make sure my patients feel heard, valued and respected. There are no irrelevant questions in my office. Open communication is the key to my practice and if I don't know the answer to a question, I always do my best to figure it out.
My wife and I live in Fort Worth with our two daughters along with our golden doodle named Leo. I'm a family man and spend my free time playing make-believe with my daughters, going on walks in the neighborhood, playing soccer, exploring nature, playing board games and watching movies. When I have the chance to take a vacation, I love going to visit National Parks.
