Very hard to get approval for med refills. Labs ordered, not notifiedof results. I am an elder patient do not know how to use patient portal and was not given the credentials to get in. I am on one medication to lower my calcium leval. If your calcium leval gets too low it can cause heart arrhythmia s. On my first visit in [omitted] I went over this with her,blood was drawn,never got results,so don't know if she saw them or not, my next visit a couple of weeks ago I again brought it up and she said let me look it up,lucky for me it was OK, we drew blood, so far no notice of results despite me asking for results when I called for med refill

I like her, but the work load and other issues at the clinic make it hard to get treatment when needed. I've been waiting over 8 business days for an answer to a message sent through the portal. I've been on hold NOW for over 20 minutes waiting to get someone to answer at the practice. I've been told that she would call me on a specific day and waited that entire day and still no phone call. I'm not sure what needs to happen at this clinic but something needs to be done. The follow up is not happening as it should.

She said I needed an ultrasound. I was instructed to call the office that did that in Lewisville , I don’t remember the name of the company, . Now you know and I know, patient does not make appointments the ultrasound office calls the patient. To this date I have not heard from anyone .

She was good to listen to my concerns and look at my blood work, etc, but I did not feel as though I received any "doctoring" during the visit. She never once touched me until I asked her to listen to my heart--no feeling of my neck glands or abdominal area, etc. When she first entered the room, she asked me if there were concerns I wanted to discuss, and I brought those up, but the rest of the appointment did not move forward from that....It seemed that she was reacting to my questions rather than leading the appointment to find out about my health by examination or questions to me. She seemed very scattered and confused on a couple of points that we discussed. She was very quick to offer to write referrals to other doctors for things about which I asked, but when I left the appointment, I felt like I was not confident in her as my doctor or in the recommendations she made for the referrals she gave.

Unable to get a response. Lab results in portal but 6 days later no contact or follow up call. Left message on Monday with no response 4 days later. Did get a response to portal message stating dr. Dogs has not reviewed lab results. One week since visit. Usually you do lab work before visit but this time it was done on date of visit. Why is her patient load? Seems like there too many patients. Response time needs improvement.

I like how friendly she is. However, I don’t like that all my visits are recorded though I gave my permission it still makes me a bit uncomfortable. I don’t like that when I request a refill by phone on a prescription or a new medication, it takes multiple attempts to get them to contact the pharmacy. Last year, I threatened to leave WellMed because I called in and asked for a new blood sugar monitor bc mine had stopped working. I also asked for a lancing device. 3 weeks and 7 phone calls later to Doctor Diggs office making the same request, one of the prescriptions was finally called in to a Walgreens 5 miles from my home that I had never used before. I had even made an appointment with Dr Diggs assistant, a few days after my first request, showed her the meter I needed, and lancing device and they STILL weren’t called in. Took speaking to a supervisor and it still didn’t happen until 3 weeks later. Being diabetic I deeply depend on blood sugar tests. I couldn’t test my sugar for 3 weeks. I was sick, not knowing if sugar was too high or too low. But Dr Diggs is friendly so I kept her as my doctor. On my last appt about a month ago, I checked in which was fast but was kept waiting in the exam room for doctor Diggs over an hour. I came out into the hall and asked her staff if they told I was here or not. Dr Diggs was standing at the counter with a face mask on looking surprised to see me. I didn’t recognize her bc of the mask. Looked like she had forgotten I was there. She told me they were short of staff as an excuse. 2 staff were there at the counter and I was checked in right away but she didn’t show up so short of staff wasn’t true. I became very sick bc of low blood sugar. I hadn’t eaten and almost passed out in her office. My head was tight, eyes felt pushed in, blurry vision and fuzzy. Dr Diggs brought me chocolates. I said I can’t eat sugar so she found crackers and gave to me. I made appointment bc of a bump on back of my neck. She said was a cyst and she’ll give me antibiotics instead of lancing it. At end of appointment she told me ho go to a room there to have my eyes examined. I told her that I need to go home and eat bc I still felt sick and I’ll come back for eye exam. I scheduled for it b4 I left. I came back an hour later. I was supposed to begin the antibiotics immediately on that Friday. By evening I still hadn’t heard from Walgreens so I called and they said my doctor hadn’t sent a prescription. I called the doctor office next day and they were closed. Following Monday I went back to WellMed. A practitioner looked in computer and saw Dr Diggs hadn’t even put the prescription in. They had to check her notes just to find out she wanted me to have it. During that visit with Dr Diggs, she looked on her computer and said absently that she still needed to send some of my last maintenance meds to pharmacy from 3 months ago. I wondered why often right b4 my meds run out, Walgreens text me to request refills so they can call her.

Personally I liked her. Dr Diggs listened to my health issue and she acted promptly by setting up various tests for me to take. Thank God she and not a minute too soon either. I was in really bad pain with my stomach for the past week, every day was, like am I going to the emergency room? I held on knowing I had a sonic gram this week. Had the sonic gram done yesterday and will be seeing PA at gastro office tomorrow. Shiv called me today, gave me information on my tests. First time I've ever spoken to Shiv. What a nice gentleman he is.
