He listens when issues are relayed to him and discusses his reasons for treatment plans and medication that he recommends. Since I had to switch over to him from his nurse practitioner when Well Med decided to combine his office with another of their facilities but not to transfer his nurse practitioner to that practice with him, at least I was familiar with him even though I preferred a female provider.

I explained it at the beginning of this survey. He answered a personal call in the middle of my consultation. I see it as very unprofessional. And I had to asked him about the prescription he was giving me as how many times a day and how long. He answered 2X for 10 days and stated that I would see it once I picked up my prescription. I’m glad I asked because he ended up writing up incorrect instructions. He put instructions to take 3 times a WEEK with a quantity of 20. The pharmacy only gave me 12 pills so I had to call them to verify. That was an ordeal trying to rectify as insurance wouldn’t approve the 2nd attempt. Eventually they did because the pharmacy called my insurance to explain the events. It was back and forth and a few calls and visits to the pharmacy, it was a bit of a hassle. Another note to add was that my vitals were not taken before my visit. I had to ask the Dr. if the medical assistant would come to do so. He said yes that he would let her know. I waited for 10 minutes and that’s because I peeked out to get her attention.
