About

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. Following nursing school, I completed Parkland Hospital's Nurse Critical Care and Emergency Services Residency. After my residency, I worked as a staff critical care nurse at Parkland Hospital's medical ICU. I completed my family nurse practitioner master's degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. My foundational values in providing care has always been to be an active listener for my patients and their concerns and to thoroughly educate them with compassion and empathy. The philosophy which I practice medicine parallels the holistic approach where I treat the patient as a whole and not only manage acute and chronic diseases, but also I pay attention to details that impact an individual's quality of life. I enjoy watching sports, working out, going on new trails, and spending time with family and friends.
