Cassandra Herrera, NP

Cassandra Herrera, NP, strongly believes in delivering patient-centered care, where patients receive guidance and education from their providers but remain fully in charge of their own health care.

NP Herrera was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She pursued a career as a family NP with the vision of helping others and having the opportunity to serve a diverse population of patients. Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and preventive care are her top clinical interests.

Educating patients about their health is NP Herrera’s favorite aspect of serving as an NP. She currently lives in San Antonio, where she enjoys exercising, relaxing and sleeping in her spare time.
