Biography

Erika Garza, MD, is passionate about using scientific knowledge to help others. In her practice, she seeks to understand her patients' concerns and supports them through their health journey. She is proud to serve as her patients' mentor and adviser.

Dr. Garza enjoys building lasting relationships in her family medicine practice. She believes patients have the best outcomes when they receive consistent care from a dedicated provider. Dr. Garza strives to forge meaningful connections with each of her patients and works with them as a team. At each stage in the care process, she includes patients in decision-making and ensures they always receive the information they need to make educated choices about their care.

Dr. Garza graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed the Christus Santa Rosa Family Practice Residency Program. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, she is proud to continue serving patients in her home community. In her free time, Dr. Garza enjoys traveling, shopping and relaxing with her family.

    She always takes her time to answer any questions I may have and is always very professional. She always listens to any concerns I may have about my health. She even has her Medical Assistant call me and check on me when my blood pressure was a little high during my appointment. She cares about her patients, that’s what I Love about her.
