I have usually had a very satisfying experience with Dr Jose. In one instance, I came in with an issue that developed into a bigger problem over the weekend. When I went to the Optum walk-in clinic, I found that, surprisingly, my records between Dr Jose (an Optum provider) and the Optum walk-in clinic were not shared in a timely way, and I had to resolve my problem in a hospital ER. Otherwise, I have found Dr Jose to be proactive in dealing with my health issues and very professional and caring in our doctor-patient relationship.

I have only seen her once. I can't rate someone I don't really know. She seemed put off by me when I had an unfavorable reaction to her extremely heavy perfume. I have strong sensitivities to it and left my appointment feeling sick to my stomach and had a headache. She seemed indifferent to it. I was provided a mask to wear to help with my breathing it but it helped very little as the perfume was extreme. Otherwise I think she had a genuine desire to help me as a patient. It was just hard to think and make the most of the time I had within the time of my appointment.

If I am real sick she has one of the nurses call and check up on me a few days after going home or she calls me herself to check on me. If I need her she gets me in right away. She doesn't mess around where I am concerned because of the serious health problems I have. If she needs to she will send you to a specialist for help.
