Horacio Agueros, MD

Horacio Agueros, MD, is a native Texan born in Wortham and raised in Mexia. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and then temporarily moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where he completed his residency at UPMC Williamsport. He currently holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Agueros has always been passionate about science and helping people, which inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. His favorite aspect of being a medical doctor is meeting and treating patients of all ages. Dr. Agueros strongly believes that listening to patients, addressing their concerns and educating them about their conditions are essential to exceptional patient care. Of all the conditions he treats, he feels most passionate about diabetes care and prevention.

Dr. Agueros lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, children and their dog. When he is not at the clinic, he enjoys watching movies and spending quality time with friends and family.
