Biography

Michael Cohen, MD, is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his medical degree in 2016. He remained in Texas to complete his Anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2020. Afterward, Dr. Cohen went to the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2021. After returning to Texas, he joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified physician in September 2025.
Dr. Cohen truly enjoys helping his patients, treating them to improve their chronic pain — including pain associated with injuries, post-surgical pain, and pain of the neck, spine, joints, and more. With an evidence-based approach, he addresses his patients’ pain with a variety of modalities, including interventional procedures when needed. Dr. Cohen’s favorite parts of being a physician are being able to meet a diverse population of people in the community and seeing visible improvement in his patients’ symptoms.
