Jia Zhang, NP

Jia Zhang, NP, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in acute adult-gerontology. She trained at Grand Canyon University and is board-certified by ANCC. Her patient care philosophy is to treat every patient as if they are a family member or friend.

NP Zhang originally became a nurse practitioner because she wanted to help others. She enjoys utilizing her skills, knowledge and expertise to support and care for patients. NP Zhang chose to focus on palliative care to help make life better for those with chronic pain and/or terminal illnesses. She is often able to help patients receive support and care at home and avoid hospitalizations. She also is particularly interested in treating geriatric patients. 

NP Zhang was born and raised in China and currently lives in Austin, Texas. She has two sons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, listening to music and reading.
