He made a very serious diagnosis of my problem. He said I had a virus and it just had to run its course. It was not a virus. It was a very serious infection that required hospitalization for eight days.

Dr. Sassani recommended that I see a urologist after reviewing my blood work up which showed my PSA out of range. It was because of him that I found that I had prostate cancer. He was awesome and I am very thankful that he recommended the urologist who treated me.

Same day visit due to sore throat and laryngitis. tech did swabs. Dr Sassani came in 15 minutes. Did not intro himself. Did not come into room. Stood at door. Said you are negative on all tests. Go home. I asked for azithromycin and steroids. Refused. Asked him to listen my lungs. He finally did. Said go home. In 4 days I was so sick, heavy congestion coughing. Called back. No return call. No explanation. Rx for exactly what I needed 5 days ago suddenly arrives at Walgreens. Again no call. I started meds 6 days late and was better in 24 hours. Unacceptable. If de sassani had looked at my history he would have seen that once I have a sore throat it goes to my lungs in 48 hours. The combo Rx always works for me. Also he was not showing care, concern or empathy. Stacy at front desk is wonderful. All the Techs and PAs are great.

Have seen him twice. He did not seem familiar or interested in my health history. Did not offer advice until prompted about preventive medicine/shots appropriate for my age and health history. The first time I saw him, (about two years ago), because there was a question about my mammogram, he made a referral for follow up with a specialist about whom he had no particular familiarity. It felt to me that Dr Sassani picked the ‘specialist’ off a list, rather than someone whose work he was familiar with. My experience with original health providers at this practice was that they knew the work/reputation of specialists they referred me to for follow up.
