Biography

Brenda Dungan, NP, is a nurse practitioner. She completed her training at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is board-certified by AANP. Her patient care philosophy is to practice compassion when working with patients and their families.

NP Dungan originally pursued a medical career because she was driven to help people in her community. She chose to work in primary care because she enjoys forming relationships with patients and their families. She also enjoys being able to help patients with chronic medical conditions. Her favorite part of her job is knowing she has made a difference in a patient’s life.

NP Dungan is an El Paso, Texas native. She is married with four children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going on road trips. Clinically, she is interested in treating allergies, asthma, COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity. She also has a clinical interest in geriatric medicine and palliative care.
