Biography

Harry Shen, MD, believes the best treatment is prevention. When working with his patients, he practices active listening so every patient feels seen and heard.

Dr. Shen decided to pursue a career in medicine after someone close to him passed away when he was young. Experiencing the pain and suffering associated with this loss inspired him to channel that suffering into something positive he could do for the world. The field of family medicine appeals to him because it allows him to take care of people of any age, empowering them to make good decisions to live healthier, longer lives.

Dr. Shen graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Born and raised in Plano, Texas, he now resides in the Fort Worth, Texas area. In his free time, Dr. Shen enjoys hiking, walking, jogging and going on new adventures with his friends. He also enjoys rocketry and following SpaceX developments, as well as cooking and learning about different types of wines.
