She missed a hernia I had a while ago. Fails to ensure prescriptions are received by the pharmacy. I've had to call the office to remind them to send it. This last visit she said she will renew Rx for chlorestral med. I've asked her in the past if she could recommend a specialist but she said since I have PPO she didn't have to. I spoke with her about it.

I saw her for my annual exam. She did not check my eyes, throat, ears or glands. I had gallbladder surgery in January, and when I mentioned it, she said her assistant told her. She never asked how I was doing, if everything was okay. When I said my feet were swollen, I said they were. She checked and said they weren't. She said every one's feet swell after being on them all day. My appointment was 9 a.m. I asked her to request an RA test with my regular blood work. When she called with the results of the RA test, I asked for the results of the other blood work. They had not been done. I did not feel confident in the exam at all.

I had severe sciatic pain and she did not call me, did not arrange for appointment, only ordered medication (that were not enough to alleviate my pain). I had to call again where the pain was so unbearable that I could not take it anymore. Then she increased the dose and I received IM injections that somewhat helped. I understand that she has limited time for a patient, but should have called me at least. I had to go to the urgent clinic to get help two times.

Dr. Mary Stettmeier is an awesome doctor. She explains everything to you. She takes the time to listen to what you have to say.
