Biography

Sheryll Gilmore, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who trained at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is board-certified by AANP and is passionate about preventive medicine. Her patient care philosophy involves setting sustainable goals for her patients.

Ms. Gilmore pursued a career as a nurse practitioner because she was well-versed in the health care field and wanted to work both collaboratively and independently. She chose to work in family medicine to provide health care from a holistic view to patients of all ages. Her favorite part of her job is knowing that, at the end of each day, she has helped patients, whether it was a medication refill, lab, diagnostic test or an annual physical.

Ms. Gilmore was born in the Philippines and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is married and has three children, two of whom are bonus sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and looking up new recipes. Clinically, she is particularly interested in treating diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, musculoskeletal conditions and obesity, among others. She also enjoys geriatric medicine and preventive care.
