Biography

Sarah Strickland, APRN, practices family medicine. She obtained her nurse practitioner degree from the University of Texas Arlington.

Ms. Strickland became interested in medicine because she enjoyed caring for people and wanted to partner with individuals to reach their health goals. She enjoys working in a family practice setting because of its variety—there is never a dull day at the office.

Ms. Strickland’s favorite part about being a primary care provider is getting to know her patients so she can offer personalized care. She enjoys working together with each patient to create a customized treatment approach.

Ms. Strickland grew up in a military family and hails from the southern United States. She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. She is particularly interested in preventive care and treating diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and thyroid disorders.
