Biography

David Vigil, NP, always puts his patients first and believes that treating them as family members can often result in the best possible health outcomes. His favorite aspect of serving as an NP is watching patients with illnesses transform into healthier, happier people.

NP Vigil was born in Mission, TX, and raised only minutes away in McAllen. He earned his master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program at Texas State University and holds board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. His strong desire to help others and provide better care inspired him to advance his career in nursing and become an NP.

Allergies, COPD, migraines and musculoskeletal conditions are some of NP Vigil’s top clinical interests. He currently lives in Harlingen, TX, with his wife of over 14 years and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending as much quality time as possible with his family.
