Multiple Errors: Failed to mention high hematocrit, which is a risk of blood clots and needs to be discussed. Failure of duty of care, lack of competence. Does not understand creatine supplementation effects on bloodwork and mistakes it for decreased kidney function, despite me already explaining it. Failure of duty of competence. Poor communication. Gave bad advice to cease supplementation. I work with another doctor on this topic and the difference in competence is night and day. Gave incorrect information that my testosterone was high at 631. This was a mistake because the reference range was incorrect, it was for a geriatric, not age appropriate to me. Failure of duty of competence. Did not collect important information on supplements, which turned out to be necessary. Failure of data collection. Misdiagnosed an infection on my shin as fungal and prescribed a antifungal. Turns out it was not fungal. Failure of duty of competence. Did not mention abdominal ultrasound (?) but recommended it in a message because of high liver enzymes. Poor communication, and unnecessary because the cause for high liver enzymes was known and a plan was already made.

Overall she was fine but a little too aggressive and telling me that I needed to find out how to get an oral surgeon and I felt that she should have known my insurance. Dual medicaid medicare does not cover an oil surgeon. Since we had been over it before and that is the reason I had been in the hospital for 4 days.

Dr Landeros takes time to explain what is causing the pain and explains the medications and very caring and supportive of me as a patient. And always tells me that I can always call her if I have any questions or concerns.
