Lizette Vela, NP

Lizette Vela, FNP, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned her Master of Science to become a family nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Mrs. Vela treats allergies, arthritis, COPD, dementia, musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., back pain, neck pain, broken bones and strains) and thyroid disorders. She is also passionate about preventive health and helps patients manage heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, which are some of the most common health conditions in the United States.

Mrs. Vela currently lives in La Porte, Texas, where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. Mrs. Vela enjoys weight lifting, running, exercising, reading and listening to podcasts when she isn't caring for patients.
