Biography

Brenda Guzman, MD, takes a patient-centered approach to care. This approach involves treating patients with respect and dignity and forming a strong patient-doctor relationship.

Dr. Guzman received her medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She started her career in health care as a nursing assistant, where she fell in love with patient care. This passion inspired her to become a physician. Dr. Guzman is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Guzman enjoys family medicine due to the diversity of illnesses and the different levels of care she provides for various age groups. She also enjoys collaborating with her patients to help them make informed decisions about their health. She was born in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in El Paso, Texas. Today, Dr. Guzman resides in the San Antonio, Texas, region. She is married with two children. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling and going to the movie theater.
