He began his exam by telling my [omitted] year old mom He would have nightmares about her toenails. He didn’t examine the ulcer on my mom’s foot until we asked him to. The. He sighed and put gloves on and pulled the bandage off a little bit you couldn't even see the ulcer. He just said ya ya it’s infected. She is diabetic. She needed immediate attention and he gave her a weak antibiotic and sent her on her way. No care. Rude. Ineffective treatment. Does he not know how to treat older patients? I’m surprised he’s at Wellmed. Patients need special care and he just blew us off.

Dr. is very patient in dealing with my deafness. He even did something that no other doctor had done. He downloaded an app which transcribes our conversation. So, he just turns his laptop on, speaks and I read. But, He needs to make sure the patient understands what to expect about the medications he prescribes. He does ask if I have any questions. By the time I know enough about the medication it is too late...I have already purchased it.
