Melissa Rybak, NP

Melissa Rybak, FNP, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her practice, she works to help patients take charge of their physical and mental well-being. Ms. Rybak knows her patients' health depends on holistic care. She strives to help patients understand their unique risk factors so they can take charge of their lives.

Ms. Rybak believes patient education is a critical part of medicine. At each step of the health care journey, she works with her patients to make informed, collaborative decisions and spends time with each patient to address all their health concerns. She specializes in assisting patients with chronic illnesses like diabetes and uses evidence-based methods for controlling blood sugar. This approach helps patients reduce their risk of diabetes-related complications.

A lifelong resident of Texas, she was raised in Colleyville. She's a graduate of Texas A&M University, University of Texas Health Science Center and Texas Woman's University. Today, she lives in Waxahachie with her husband and three dogs.
