Jesus Gallegos, MD

Jesus Gallegos, MD, was born and raised in Mexico before moving to Texas to earn his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internal medicine residency at Medical Center Hospital-Audie Murphy VA Hospital and holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Preventive care, thyroid disorders and hypertension are some of his many clinical interests.

Dr. Gallegos grew up in a family of doctors and fostered an interest in medicine at a very young age. He is strongly dedicated to upholding the Hippocratic Oath in his daily practices and to helping his patients choose the best possible treatment plans. His favorite aspect of practicing internal medicine is getting to know all his patients and fostering meaningful relationships with them.

Dr. Gallegos is married with four children and currently lives in San Antonio. He enjoys playing sports with his children, including soccer, softball, volleyball and ping pong. Dr. Gallegos also enjoys playing acoustic guitar and golf. His faith in God is of utmost importance in his life, and his involvement in church takes precedence over any other hobby.
